Delgadito was selected in 2023 to develop UNESCO’s first biodiversity credits
Located within the Vizcaino Biosphere Reserve UNESCO Biosphere (a critical whale sanctuary), this 3,000 hectare mangrove restoration and blue carbon project is executed in partnership with Mujeres Del Delgadito,a women’s co-op from a local fishing village, and One Tree Planted. The project will lead to more largescale Regenerative Seawater Agroforestry Project in the Baja region, where over 1 million hectares await transformation.
